Technical Description
KD International provides Vertical Pressure Leaf Filter Skids, designed for efficient filtration of fluids with high dirt loads. Each Vertical Pressure Leaf Filter Skid is fully assembled, skid-mounted, and equipped with a DE mixing tank and pneumatic control system, ensuring seamless operation and enhanced filtration performance.
The KD Series FS400 Vertical Pressure Leaf Filter Skid features a special washing arrangement, allowing filter cake cleaning without opening the vessel. This extended filtration area enables high-flow filtration, making it suitable for demanding industrial applications. Slurry discharge is handled efficiently via a sluice header, driven by a pneumatic actuator, ensuring automated and controlled waste removal.
To maintain optimal performance, the sluice header is fitted with flat water spray nozzles operating at 3.5 bar fresh water pressure, effectively cleaning filter leaves without manual intervention.
